I'm sorry I didn't read the article carefully enough! But I don't care what country it is - Iran or Iraq? They are both countries run by crazy people. The sentiments expressed are the same for both countries.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Here, let me step you through it. Note the bolded part in my original post. Note especially the word "example". This is used when one wants to point out something that is illustrative of a larger set of similar things.Just another shining example of what happens when a people allow restrictive religious beliefs to dictate governmental actions.
Kinda like when god whispers in georgie bush's ear.
If it's wrong in Iran (Sluggo this is in Iran, not Iraq. Different countries.) then it's wrong here.
When I used it here it was to show that this particular "example" was the kind of thing that basing governmentally enforced restrictions on religious beliefs, like the ones that georgie on the mount would like to see, leads to the kinds of things that the "example" in question illustrates. I did not say that this particular incident was mirrored here but that it could happen if things keep going in the direction that they are.
English 101. (Hey maybe we can sit next to each other in class!!!)

You do at least know that until the bush imperial invasion that Iraq and Iran were enemies. Right?
